Well that was a depressing read first thing this morning. Equally depressing is knowing all these institutions have the media on their side. But I’m thankful you have laid it all out here. It’s important to know what’s going on because only then can we fight it.

Thanks Yvonne. All hiding in plain sight

Sickening to read

Number 4 on that vomit-inducing list: ask the client what they need/want and give it to them asap. What's the point of being a counsellor, then?

Barry Watkin's avatar

I suppose there’s the possibility of a client turning it over by refusing a counsellor who is racist.

In other words, the reverse of what this NZAIC intends.

Linzey's avatar

Love to see it, though you'd never hear or read about it, and I suspect the client would suffer all the opprobrium. It would definitely backfire on the client.

Barry Watkin's avatar

Indoctrination only works on people who are compliant, so I am holding onto that thought!

Linzey's avatar

No, you are wrong. Woke indoctrination works because those who do NOT comply are punished: loss of promotion or the job itself, or social ostracization. You may even find your woke bank unwilling to support your mortgage until you have a "mea culpa" epiphany. Or you can be barred from your local supermarket for non-conformity.

Such grifting b.S. Can't afford to have two cultures taxing and wasting money..

NZ is going down the gurgler.

Great read, thank you.

I'm half-past sick and tired of the apartheid-loving scumsters instituting race-based bullshittery.

What a load of Maori Mafia Bovine Manure !

Shame on this useless, feckless coalition for condoning this outright, racist , divisive bullshit.

And the bloviating buffoon Shane Jones and Winston Peters PROMISED us all this would NEVER happen as this type of crap was a BOTTOM LINE for NZ First.

Liars !

It crossed my mind that this trouble is at least partially responsible for Brooke Van Velden’s decision to leave politics - she isn’t one to bang her head against a brick wall.

How can an "eternal raced based society", built in some cases upon dubious, and diluted claims of racial identification, only ever be a recipe for societal division, and antagonism, which seems blatantly obvious is the point of this. Anyone still believing this is driven by a sense of social justice is either naive, or being deliberately deceitful.

John McLean's avatar

The notion that classifying and dividing humans based on racial ancestry could ever be unifying is both oxymoronic and moronic.

Sean Jenner's avatar

And yet this creeping insidious racial separatism that is being quietly enshrined into our legal system, government, and institutions is portrayed as unifying and inclusive, with the media as cheerleader. It's goal is to break down existing power structures, and replace it with an updated version of Orwells 1984.

Reading this makes me feel sick. It is as though the war, not just the battle is lost.

How can we as private individuals/citizens pull back from this and stop it?

God help us. It's stupidity writ large but then I had some experience with these people over the years and people who visit Counsellors are usually in a fairly vulnerable state and open to all manner of suggestions.

When my first marriage was on the rocks my wife suggested we try one of these people. The first fellow was a bloke named Larry. He was great, very practical and down to earth and we played a few games where I pretended to be him and he pretended to be me, then he was me and I was my wife.....It was an interesting exercise that I gather he also tried with my wife....

She didn't like him so we went to another bloke where we spent 55 mins listening to my wife largely saying that I did not listen to her and I got 5 minutes at the end of the hour saying how I was trying. Eventually after too many years we broke up thank god.

Frankly on the whole they are a bunch of soft-cocks, that's the blokes of course. The women who do this work? Well it sounds like in NZ it's mostly women and you are dead right to target them. Is it finished? Are we stuck with this stuff forever? I do not think so. I sense real change in the air.

Even the most woke in Wokeateroa are starting to realise that ships and trucks don't and wont for some time run on solar, wind, hydro or geothermal and we absolutely have to get diesel from somewhere so I sense the penny is staring to drop and we see a return to good old commonsense........you never know.

Obviously there’s a limit to what a single party, Act, and its leader David Seymour can do. Unless there’s more willpower and determination amongst citizens in general we are facing a bleak future - I’m unaware of any society that flourished under racial and cultural division.

So what happens when the ideological clauses in the Charities legislation conflict, for example, with the legal fiduciary duties? I assume that the decolonisation of law is invoked and resukts no law.

The counsellor's constitition unceritcally accepts Marxist CRT and the wokery. Diangelo and Sensoy in their book for teachers tells us that CRT knowledge stands above commonsense and tradtional non Marxist academic knowedge and that it is a lifelong pursuit. This is a religious cult that will undermine the medical/psychological basis of psychology.

Our law and medicine is predominantly inductive NOT deductive. They also consider the individual not the collective. Marxist dialectc is deductive and with self fufilling predictive outcomes. It is not science but verbal sorcery dressed up as round theory about how the world works. Hence it is a religion. The irony lost on the Maoist faithfull is that under their own doxology they are now the oppressors.

We will become like Soviets living in a dual mental word one perfomative to mental fantasy in public, the other to cynicl reality in private.

Changes to the laws around incorporated societies are not something that makes the headlines in the MSM - thanks for enlightening me.

Thanks again for casting light on these dark arts John. So many of these relatively unknown but influential institutions are now so deeply woke (Internet NZ is another topical example) one has to wonder if they recoverable.

I listened to Seymour on the Platform and despite being a huge fan, I was so disappointed. Purist stances are nice in theory, but my grandma always said “if you need to clean up the sewer, you need to get your hands dirty”. Well these sewer rats need to be told by Central Govt that pro-brown racism is not ok because they ain’t gonna stop it unless they have to.

John McLean's avatar

I detected a note of resignation in Seymour. Many of these local authority co-governance arrangements are entered into by management, without even Councillors’ endorsement. Completely undemocratic
