Tamatha Paul and her fellow Green mad Marxists who were on the WCC at the time of this ruinous vote are now running for the hills as fast as their little legs can go.

Paul, embarrassed both herself and her party in the House today in a pathetic attempt to sheet the blame for her vote to increase cycle ways at the expense of wastewater infrastructure on others.

Paul, like her fellow members in the Green, Marxist Party are distinct strangers to the truth.

The idiots who voted for them to run the city deserve all they got - and more.

Elect a clown - expect a circus.

Just on the Green Party, it’s ironic in the context of Wellington’s water problems, that green mixed with red = brown.

Excellent John. Basically if we stopped the Maori grift, ignored the Greens, sorted the judges and thought carefully about where to spend money, we’d be a wealthy country again. Not that hard to do. 1. No more ‘Maori’ primary identity, just kiwis with all the same rights. 2. Easy to ignore Chloe & co. 3. Legislate those activist fudges back into line. Easy peasy. The last challenge may be harder as it would require a public sector with intelligence.

Agreed Boris. New Zealand has basically fallen victim to its own abundance and natural advantages. Become a nation with multitudes of lazy seekers of free s**t, and politicians who pander to them

David's avatar

If they're after free s**t there's plenty of it on Wellington's south coast.

Wow!

Thanks John

It is hard to comprehend how NZ has evolved to such a gravy train for the grifters and others that don't deserve a cent of taxpayer support.

SURELY the Govt should call a holt to the coronial inquiry into Brenton Tarrant’s massacre.

Jacinda turned the massacre into a world-wide PR job to promote herself at our expense. As you say, we should eject him from our country and save $1Mpa

WHY should taxpayers continue to pay for his confinement, while we have a national debt that costs us $9Bn per year in interest costs!*!

Barry Watkin's avatar

Invoice the Aus Govt - offset some of our 501 costs.

How to stop the rot, ? voting National won't help, you could almost think they were in a coalition with the Maori Party.

I presume there's no way to hold the Wgtn Councillors who voted against more funding for the Council’s proposed long-term plan for increased expenditure on improving Wellington’s long term waste water treatment, responsible for that decision.

It would be wonderful if they could be bankrupted (unless they have enough to fund the catch-up costs) as a result of that decision, to make Councillors more aware that there are consequences for their decisions....

Great journalism makes for very interesting reading albeit more than a little disquieting. Good stuff !! It’s a pity that the MSM doesn’t have any Journalists worth reading.

What will it take for a politician to say “ENOUGH! We aren’t having that inquiry - it’s very clear what happened - and then spell it out - let’s save the money, learn from these stupid mistakes - and let common sense become a “thing” again. Any politician with that gumption would be a breath of fresh air!

Is that Pat Dougherty, the scumster who was on $385k when he was CEO at Kapiti Council? What a charlatan. Piece of shit himself.

John McLean's avatar

Hi Rex, would you be okay with me doing a Substack on the dreadful legal action being taken against you? If you’d be okay with that, please email me. I’ve just subscribed to your Substack

Rex Landy's avatar

Hi John, thanks for the sub!

I’ll DM you here no problem.

Barry Watkin's avatar

Isn’t it amazing how such folk lurch from one balls-up to another, and yet their OTT salaries actually increase? We’ve seen similar travesties within council organisations here (Auckland).

Rex Landy's avatar

So much wilful fuckery and it’s US paying for it.

I wish we would be less ‘she’ll be right’ because the grifterpigs have been getting away with it for tooooo long now.

All our fights are intertwined: the grift, the racism, the division, reality’s last stand (I don’t believe anybody is trans, they’re just cross-dressers, deviants, mentally ill or groomed children), the lack of accountability in our elected reps etc.

I’m also the wrong sort of Maori and think TPM are just a bunch of radical racist shitheads. Oops! #Unrepentant to boot.

Barry Watkin's avatar

Mistakes and/or incompetence can blight any organisation, but there’s no way that accountability should be shelved.

That really annoys me, and in my view it is a serious problem for this country now.

Cave Creek - this iteration of the rot started there.

No ministerial/governmental responsibility and it opened the floodgates of the Shaggy Defence: It Wasn’t Me.

The new CEO is not much better. Ratepayers paid for a trip for him to do a Governance course at Harvard so he could do his job better.

Rex Landy's avatar

Wealth transfers, corruption, ideology over reality. Wellingtroon and most NZ councils are fucked.

Appalling.
