He commented that all the models of climate doom are either logically fallacious, or just fail to be meaningful once they are taken out of the lab; and that we shouldn't even try to change the climate by altering carbon emissions from anthropic activities... we shouldn't assume that we really know how the planetary system works. It's really so complex, and there can be unforeseen effects and natural feedback adjustments that would foil our every attempt. But if we do try to alter the climate, we could possibly even end up making things worse,.... I didn't contradict him, but I privately felt an assurance that I didn't do such a bad job as a parent....
The Maori claim colonization as the cause of all their problems. It seems to me they have found a way to rort the laws that came with this to their ongoing advantage. There are many examples of laws designed to protect Maori culture that have been monetized by the elites. The stand over tactics over consents is just one.
