It's not widely recognised how radical Labour were. Not traditionally "Left" either. They couldn't care less about common working class people, small businesses, food production etc. Critical Social Justice (Woke) Warriors

Agree with all of that Peter. We have vast numbers of senior public "servants" who have abandoned any pretense of "service". The regard themselves as the biggest game in town. Highly ideological and unlawful

It’s great to see that the government has made appointments to the HRC that will unwind some of the wokery there. However, ACT’s idea to close them down is what should have been done. Likewise with the Waitangi Tribunal - it should be shut down but this will be too radical for Luxflake.

Great work and in my opinion a very accurate description of Wokery gone mad.

Why isn’t Jacinda held accountable for her obvious lying and mismanagement of NZ?

Dear John, you place in large measure the responsibility for NZ's predicament on the Parliamentary Labour party, and it does deserve criticism, but the real danger is not the parliamentarians but the bureaucracy. This is a matter that you have touched on previously. The unelected officials that "implement" policy are the real subversives. It seems more apparent than ever that the "wonks" implanted, seemingly for life, are corrupting the system and intent on undermining the current government. This of course is the antithesis of Westminster democratic government. Regrettably our PM is weak and unprincipled, a real PM would set about cutting out the rust that is entrenched in the "public" service, and do so as a matter of urgency. I agree with you that it is not unthinkable that there will be a Green/Maori Party/Labour government resulting from the next election.

Hard to argue with your logic John. Very well composed. Oh, and don’t forget our magic-tree loving Reserve Bank Governor appointed by the money-thrower Finance Minister at the end of March 2023 - for a 5 year term I believe…

You sure do have a way with words John. Economic sabotage or narcistic corruption? Either way both roads lead to a kind of hell on earth. Perhaps Jacinda and co were well intentioned but lacking in wisdom of foresight. I'm also not closed to the knowledge that there are some of such nature that they relish chaos with glee. Wicked hearts or ignorant hearts? The outcome is the same. If I wasn't so sad I'd be angry. I pray for our courage.

Johanna I agree with you about the part where you think they were well intentioned, they were, but their intent was on destroying New Zealand society as we knew it. Unfortunately I'd suggest they have been successful.

Paul Spoonley is one of the academics who has played a major part in this process, the title of one of his books is Recalling Aotearoa. He is never out of the media as "expert on the far-right" or "diversity expert" but never identity politics.

I'm not into guilty by association, but...Spoonley (who does a good job at misleadingly portraying himself as a moderate voice of reason) is betrayed by the horrid company he keeps. Fiona Kidman and the likes
